Letter From the Former President
I'd like to welcome you all to our 6th year of operation as a LIG!!!! I am very excited about our prospects of bringing you great content, speakers and networking forums centered around the practice of Service Management. I would also like to take this opportunity to formally introduce you to your new LIG President, Patrick Connelly from Gartner Consulting. Patrick has been a board member for the past year, helping us to coordinate meetings and programs and is well-positioned to spearhead the LIG into the 2009-2010 LIG season with great enthusiam and a wealth of industry experience. Having the opportunity to be the LIG president over the last two year has been a tremendous experience for me. I will remain active on the board as the Membership Chair and look forward to continuing to contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of our interest group.
The New England Local Interest Groups is one of the most innovative and active interest groups in the country. Your participation is key. We encourage you to share your service management experiences by presenting at future LIG meetings, participating in roundtable discussions or volunteering to help coordinate a future event. Your contribution of experience is invaluable!!!!!!!!!!
I look forward to seeing you at our first meeting of the LIG season!
Best,
Valerie Arraj
